1. Skin-Only Contact: Place the smartphone's primary bottom microphone directly against the patient's chest. Never record through clothing, as fabric friction creates false crackles.

2. Acoustic Sealing: Press the phone firmly with two fingers to create an airtight seal against the skin. This damps ambient environmental noise before it hits our DSP.

3. Patient Positioning: Instruct the subject to sit upright, remain completely still, and breathe naturally through the mouth.
